On Wednesday evening we traveled to
Surfside where my mom had rented a beach house for Thanksgiving. Thursday morning we woke up bright and early (thanks to our early bird) and began cooking.
Colton helped Nana make sweet potatoes---he looks like such a big boy!!
Everyone else started arriving around noon--I think there ended up being 16 of us. We had a wondeful lunch thanks to Mom and Uncle Mark. We headed back to Katy that evening so Cory could watch the UT vs ATM game....poor Cory!
Love,
Today we visited the
Oil Ranch in Magnolia with our playgroup. We saw lots of animals, played in the hay, took a hayride and rode a train. Colton had a wonderful time except when the hayride took us to the middle of a field of hungry cows who wanted to be fed. They came right up to us and when one stuck its head in my lap Colton whacked him on the head.
Love,
